In certain situations it is desirable to use a head-tent (hood) instead of a semi mask as breathing connection.
Advantages compared with the semi-mask:
- Free breathing without contact by the mask body, important for instance in cases of face injuries.
- Higher oxygen content of the breathing gas through better sealing at the neck.
For this reason HAUX-LIFE-SUPPORT has developed the HAUX-MASTERTENT FC
It serves for the oxygen supply of single independent breathing persons in pressure chambers.
To avoid carbon dioxide enrichment the HAUX-MASTERTENT FC is equipped with a adjustable fresh air ventilation.
